Three new original shows are coming to the Yahoo Sports app.
Oath, Verizon’s media content engine powered by the AOL and Yahoo brands, announced this week that it is adding 10 new shows, including three Yahoo Sports shows, to its slate of mobile content.
The sports-related content will be hosted by retired athletes, including two-time Olympic gold medalist and FIFA Women’s World Cup champion Abby Wambach and Arizona Cardinals safety-turned-comedian Jared Quay. There will also be a third show, dubbed “The Spin,” that will offer daily sports reporting and in-depth analysis for fans.
Quay’s show, called “The Rush,” will bring viewers must-see highlights in a daily show that will publish weekday mornings.
