The Melbourne Stars, an Australian cricket team, have announced the launch of a new augmented reality experience. Fans who download the Stars AR app will unlock a multitude of in-match AR offerings. These include the National Storage boom boom stick game, scannable AR logo markers and much more.

To debut the experience, the Stars had two top players on-hand at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) for the announcement: James Faulkner and Katie Mack.
