Manchester City enters Rocket league esports

Manchester City Esports has announced that it is launching its first professional team for Rocket League.

It is the only current Premier League club to compete in the sport game, and will make its debut at the RLCS 2026 Kick-Off Weekend.

The Rocket League team will be made up of three players, including Aston ‘Accro‘ Smith, William ‘ejby‘ Lorentzen and Dane Christian ‘TempoH‘ Mortensen. The trio have played together in the past, representing Lyost Esports in the Coup De France Slash 2025 season, and competing in multiple Monthly Cash Cups this year.
