Game developer Riot Games has announced that the finals of the 2021 League of Legends World Championship will be broadcast in cinemas, as well as on known streaming platforms.
According to the release, over 70 cinemas across Europe will host the finals on November 6th, with tickets are already available on the official website for the event.
The project is made possible with the help of distribution company Piece of Magic and American theatre company National Amusements.
The trend for movie theatre companies to partner with esports brands is not new.
