CULVER CITY, Calif. — When NBA players put on their Nike uniforms this upcoming season, they wont only be wearing a piece a clothing — they will be wearing a piece of technology.
The technology of the new uniforms ranges from the make and fabric of the jersey to an NFC chip located in the bottom left corner of the jersey, opening up a plethora or player information for fans resulting in what both players and executives believe to be the perfect product of the eight-year partnership between the league and Nike that starts this season.
