Gla1ve announces retirement from Counter-Strike esports

Four-time Counter-Strike Major winner Lukas ‘Gla1ve‘ Rossander has announced his retirement from Counter-Strike esports.

Alongside announcing his retirement from professional play, the former in-game leader revealed plans to move into a coaching role.

The former captain of Astralis shared the news on November 24th, 2025, after spending five months on the sidelines after being benched by ENCE. This brought his 18-month stint on the starting lineup to an end.

Gla1ve is best known for his time representing Astralis. After signing for the Danish organisation in 2016, he went on to be part of one of Counter-Strike’s most dominant eras, winning four Majors and 16 tournaments between 2018 and 2019.
