Gfinity to operate F1 Esports Series in multi-year deal

Gfinity has announced extended its partnership with Formula 1 to deliver the F1 Esports Series through 2022.

The extension will see Gfinity plan and execute the main elements of the F1 Esports Series in 2020, 2021 and the 2022 qualifying events.

A release states that Gfinity will continue to produce and deliver the F1 Esports Virtual Grand Prix Series, which has been extended to June 2020, before embarking on an extensive roadmap of qualifying and championship F1 Esports Series events.

John Clarke, CEO of Gfinity, spoke on the agreement in a release: “The F1 Esports Series is one of the most exciting esports tournaments in the world and we are delighted to be working with F1 for a further two years.
