Generation Esports (GenE), the founder of the High School Esports League (HSEL) and Middle School Esports League (MSEL), has announced a partnership with internet provider Ting Internet.
As a result, the two entities will utilise HSEL to bring Rocket League tournaments and esports activations to multiple ‘Ting Towns’ across the United States.
According to the release, GenE will also assist Ting with operations. This includes delivering equipment, staffing, and helping with event planning.
The two companies aspire to make esports more accessible and legitimise it as a varsity-level sport.
