First VALORANT Mobile esports LAN event wraps up in China

The first-ever VALORANT Mobile esports LAN event has concluded in China, with ACE PRIME CORE defeating EDward Gaming 3-1 in the finals to be crowned champions.

The tournament, called the Platform Finals, featured a prize pool of 300,000 CNY (~£31,340) and is part of VALORANT Mobile’s new national esports circuit in China.

The Platform Finals form one of the four pathways in the national circuit. These pathways will culminate in a National Finals at the end of the year and have a cumulative prize pool of $418,000 (~£309,000).

As part of the platforms pathway, major streaming platforms, namely Douyu, Huya, KuaiShou, Douyin, and Bilibili, hosted online tournaments.
