French football club FC Lorient has announced a partnership with Indian esports organisation S8UL Esports for its 2025-26 eLigue1 campaign.
As part of the partnership, S8UL’s Julien ‘Fouma’ Perbal and Jonas ‘Jonny’ Wirth will represent FC Lorient in the tournament. FC Lorient is already the most dominant club in French EAFC esports, having won every eLigue1 title since 2021.
Fouma was previously part of FC Lorient’s line-up, having played a crucial role in the club’s victories from 2021 to 2025.
S8UL Esports, on the other hand, is a new entrant to EAFC esports, having entered the game ahead of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025.
