Esports tournament organiser ESL has unveiled details on the qualifiers for three of its ESL Pro Tour Counter-Strike 2 events taking place in 2026.
In addition to regional qualifiers, global qualifiers will make their debut to reduce travel fatigue experienced by teams attending international events.
The first ESL Pro Tour event to feature global qualifiers is IEM Brazil. In addition to invites based on January’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS), the open qualifier will feature a single-elimination bracket taking place from January 16th to 17th. The top four teams advance to the closed qualifier taking place from January 21st to 23rd.
