Esports tournament platform FACEIT has revealed an updated format to the ESEA League, an online Counter-Strike 2 tournament.
As a result of the changes, the tournament aligns with Valve’s Ranked Tournament Operations Requirements, enabling teams and players to earn points contributing to the Valve Regional Standings (VRS).
Starting with ESEA League Season 56, the tournament returns as a direct route to professional competition. In addition to players earning VRS points, amateur teams can earn qualification for the ESL Pro League, one of the first-person shooter title’s longest-standing esports events.
