- Amazon Looks to Buy Yankees’ Regional Sports Network: An Amazon-led investor group is close to buying an 80 percent stake in the YES Network for about $3.5 billion, according to the NY Post. Sinclair Broadcast Group is also part of the deal for the regional sports network. This would give Amazon ownership of video streaming rights for the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Nets.
