The Indian Premier League (IPL) is the latest professional sports league to announce the use of a replay system to assist its officials in making the correct call.
The IPL has agreed to feature a Decision Review System (DRS) for the 2018 season, which kicks off in early-April. “Yes, this idea has been going around for many years,” said IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla to reporters last Wednesday according to the Press Trust of India news agency.
