1047 Games has responded to discussions online surrounding Splitgate: Arena Reloaded and the player counts displayed on the data platform Steam Charts.
The portal arena shooter relaunched on December 17th, 2025, to a peak of nearly 2,300 concurrent players, though the developer shared in a statement that it doesn’t ‘show the full picture’.
“Steam Charts don’t measure fun,” the Splitgate social media account wrote. “They show one number, on one platform, at one given moment. They don’t show the full picture or what it feels like to actually play.
