Rumors of Gianluca Busio’s departure from Sporting Kansas City have been around as long as he’s been under contract with the club. They really started picking up steam in 2019 and are at a fever pitch presently. The latest rumor, that the 19-year-old will depart Sporting KC and join newly promoted Venezia FC in the Italian first division Serie A, is feeling more and more likely to be true.
In an interview in the small Italian city of San Vito di Cadore, Venezia FC Technical Director and former striker, Paulo Poggi seemingly confirmed Busio’s impending arrival while denying a rumor for Salvatore Esposito joining the club.
