U.S. Soccer Reveal New Crest
Well there you have it. The new and improved U.S. Soccer crest alongside the old. It’s simple, clean, and flat out boring. While it’s still an improvement from the outdated 90’s crest, which is a plus I guess, it still falls well short of the mark.
Why am I so down on the new crest? Well let me just tell you. U.S. Soccer has no identity. It has a rich tradition but it doesn’t have a unified look that other countries boast. When you look at Spain, England, Germany, and Brazil you see a uniformity and cohesiveness that spans generations.
