Sam McDowell of the Kansas City Star is reporting that Sporting Kansas City will finally sign their young Designated Player we’ve all been waiting for.
Sporting KC's new forward signing will be 22-year-old Chilean striker Diego Rubio Kostner. He will be a young DP.

McDowell apparently confirmed the news with CEO Robb Heineman who had been mentioning the impending move several times. Earlier in the week Peter Vermes also confirmed the signing was about to go down. Now that the name is out, it seems like it must be a done deal.
