The last time Sporting Kansas City and FC Dallas met prior to Saturday; Dallas stole three points with a frustrating win in Kansas City. While Sporting KC will deny they came for revenge, it was a sweet victory on the road in Dallas as SKC took a 2-0 victory.
Those three points they earned put SKC back on top of the Western Conference, jumping back over the LA Galaxy after they won earlier in the day. Sporting KC improved their record to 11W-4L-4D and 37 points, two points over LA.
Kansas City did not take long to get a lead, it was just the 12th minute when Gadi Kinda slid a ball forward to Alan Pulido in the box.
