The rumor just won’t die. Univision is reporting that Sporting KC are still linked to Dani Castilian. I talked about this back in December. It didn’t make sense then and it doesn’t make sense now, but we’ll tackle the details.
First, Castilian is a left back. SKC went out and re-signed Seth Sinovic in the offseason, Amadou Dia has started every single game in 2016 and there was so much depth that Marcel de Jong was simply released before the season.
On top of that, Univision states that Castilian is under contract until the summer of 2017.
