Sporting KC II shock Indy Eleven with first home loss in over two years

Danny Barbir’s 70th minute strike was the difference as Sporting Kansas City II handed the Indy Eleven their first loss at Lucas Oil Stadium in over two years. Just three days after snatching their first win of the season in Louisville, SKC II brought down another powerhouse of USL.

Jahon Rad’s first start of the season was one of six changes from Sporting II’s win on Wednesday, as Camden Riley and Kaveh Rad both dropped to the bench for the first time this season. The Indy Eleven made five changes from their 4-1 win earlier in the week over Hatford Athletic, which included goalkeeper Jordan Farr getting his season debut.
