Sporting Kansas City II defender Dillon Serna was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week today after assisting both goals in the club's momentous 2-1 road win over FC Tulsa on Saturday.
Serna's pinpoint crosses to forwards Fredinho Mompremier and Wilson Harris highlighted a pair of scoring plays at ONEOK Field as Sporting KC II moved within four points of playoff positioning in Group E of the USL Championship.
In addition to notching two assists, the 26-year-old Serna completed 25 of 32 passes, blocked two shots and led all field players in Saturday's match with nine recoveries.
