Sporting Kansas City Academy defender Cameron Duke has been called in to the U.S. Under-16 National Team for a training camp in Davis, Calif., that started on Sept. 3 and will run through Sept. 10. The U.S. U-16s are set to play matches against U-18 teams from Juventus Sport Club, Sacramento Republic, Clovis Crossfire and Sacramento United.
Duke is one of 36 players called in by head coach Shaun Tsakiris, and will be a part of the group that faces Juventus Sport Club and Sacramento Republic in a doubleheader tonight at Bonney Field in Sacramento, Calif. The U-16s will take part in a second doubleheader on Saturday against Clovis Crossfire and Sacramento United at the campus of UC Davis.
