Sporting Kansas City striker Soony Saad was named to Lebanon’s roster for an upcoming 2019 AFC Asian Cup Qualifier against Malaysia on June 13. The match will take place at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur.
Saad has seven caps for Lebanon’s national team after making his debut for The Cedars in a friendly against Oman in May 2013. The 24-year-old striker scored on his debut for Lebanon and has tallied twice more for the national team.
