The NCAA men's soccer season kicks off this weekend with SKC Academy products across the country in action. Twenty-nine players from the SKC Academy are currently playing collegiate soccer including five at West Virginia, four at Drake and 20 additional players spread out across 19 schools. Two players - Zach Wright at North Carolina (pictured, above) and Alex Kaddah at Denver - feature for preseason top five schools while another three - Ryan Krutz at Notre Dame, Bryce Gibson at Creighton and Wes White at Coastal Carolina - will begin the season ranked in the top 25.
West Virginia midfielder JoJo Piatzcyc, a 2016 All-MAC First Team selection, will miss the 2017 season after sustaining a knee injury prior to the start of preseason.
