Swope Park Rangers midfielder Chase Minter was named to the USL Team of the Week on Tuesday for his performance at Children’s Mercy Park on Sunday in a 3-2 victory against expansion side Las Vegas Lights FC. This is the second time in three weeks that Minter has received USL Team of the Week honors.
Minter, making his 15th appearance and eighth start for the Rangers on Sunday, recorded one assist to Seth Sinovic, created six chances and completed 34 of 40 passes in the win. In his first season with SPR, Minter has a tackle success rate of 88.
