Thoughts on the game:
“Probably our best first half of the season. We came in very well with players that were very hungry, with players that wanted to prove something. The game in RGV (on May 21) wasn’t our type of game and we spoke about that, it’s not the games you have to play so we wanted to prove that the image we left in RGV wasn’t the real image that we are, so I think that it was a good message when it came to the fact that we played an opponent that was the hardest probably in USL at the moment, six games without losing, and our first half was fantastic and I think it dictated pretty much the rest of the game.
