Ohio State Buckeyes' Jaxon Smith-Njigba smashes receiving records in Rose Bowl

It was a record-breaking day for Ohio State wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the Rose Bowl Game Pres. by Capital One Venture X.

Smith-Njigba broke the Rose Bowl receiving-yard record, the Ohio State single-game receiving record and the Ohio State receiving record for a season on Saturday against Utah.

With 257 receiving yards through the third quarter, Smith-Njigba broke Terry Glenn's school record of 253 yards, set against Pitt in 1995. Glenn reached his total on nine catches, whereas Smith-Njigba did it on 10.

In addition to the Ohio State record, Smith-Njigba also broke the Rose Bowl record, beating Keyshawn Johnson's previous record of 216 yards.
