Some big news dropped over the weekend that Fabian Herbers—who is arguably the best attacking talent in this year’s MLS SuperDraft pool and had previously turned down a Generation Adidas contract offer from MLS—has reversed course and accepted a Generation Adidas deal, as has newly-minted USMNT call-up Brandon Vincent. Herbers’ signing with MLS potentially creates a domino effect of sorts because based on talent alone, he is a top-five pick, and his GA status only sweetens the deal.
Additionally, Vincent’s stock has only gone up with his aforementioned USMNT call-up as well as an impressive showing at the MLS Combine prior to departing to join Camp Cupake.
