While all 27 MLS clubs have been busy building toward the 2021 season with additions and moves, the actual window to sign players had not yet opened.
That changes today, Feb. 10, when the Primary Transfer Window officially begins and runs through May 4.
- Primary Transfer Window: Wednesday, Feb. 10 – Tuesday, May 4, 2021
- Secondary Transfer Window: Wednesday, July 7 – Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021
The transfer windows are the periods in which MLS teams can officially register any new players who were previously under contract with clubs based outside MLS and for which an International Transfer Certificate (ITC) is required.
