Sporting, coming off a 1-0 loss to Portland, looked very shaky to start but grew into the match. Ultimately, they got no points and are tied for 8th place with 0 points and a -1 goal differential.
Things were a little worse for the Rapids in week 1. On the road at Seattle (with their atrocious turf), the Rapids were absolutely battered for a 4-0 loss.
