After a two-week break, Kansas City NWSL returns to the pitch, traveling to Portland to take on the second place Thorns FC in a nationally-televised game on CBS. It will be the second meeting of 2021 between the two clubs. The Thorns beat Kansas City 2-1 in Challenge Cup play on April 9th. Amy Rodriguez was the goalscorer for KC that evening in Portland.
