Sporting Kansas City will play their final game of June on Wednesday with a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 match against the Houston Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium. The match will kick off at 6 p.m. CT and will be streamed live on SportingKC.com.
Sporting KC enters Wednesday’s match on a four-game unbeaten streak in all competitions. Peter Vermes’ side advanced to the Round of 16 with a 2-1 overtime win over Minnesota United FC in the Round of 32.
The defending U.S. Open Cup champs will look to continue the club’s momentum heading into a busy July that includes six MLS matches and a potential Open Cup quarterfinal match should the club win on Wednesday.
