U.S. Soccer legend Landon Donovan announced today that he will re-join the LA Galaxy for the remainder of the 2016 season. The all-time leader in MLS goals and assists retired in 2014 after leading the LA Galaxy to their fifth MLS Cup championship.
Sporting Kansas City will host Donovan and the Galaxy on Sunday, Sept. 18 at Children's Mercy Park in a match that will be nationally televised on FOX. Limited tickets are available for the match and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or by calling 888-4KC-GOAL.
In his 14-year MLS career with the San Jose Earthquakes and Galaxy, Donovan amassed 144 goals and 136 assists.
