KC Comets complete comeback for upset win over Ontario Fury

The Kansas City Comets pulled off a remarkable comeback from four goals down to defeat the Ontario Fury by a final score of 7-6 on Sunday at Cable Dahmer Arena.

The comeback was illustrated by player-coach Leo Gibson, who had a goal and three assists on the night. Rookie midfielder Lucas Sousa was the top star with an assist and his first career hat trick. The Fury, who opted to rest four-time MVP Franck Tayou, were led by Nestor Hernandez with two goals and Justin Stinson with three assists.

The Comets opened the scoring early in the first quarter as Ramone Palmer scored his fourth goal of the season.
