Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star detailed the club's field renovations today, providing the scope of a comprehensive project that features a first-of-its-kind heating system.
“It came down to the bookends of the season,” Sporting KC President and CEO Jake Reid told McDowell. “We want to be in Champions League every year, and we want to be hosting playoff matches every year.
