Good news for soccer fans, the Kansas City Comets have new ownership. The newly formed KC Comets LLC, a subsidiary of Game Theory Ventures is the new ownership group and is led by Managing Director Colin Weaver. Game Theory Ventures is based in the Midwest and composed of a small group of private investors. Top of the Arc, LLC operated the Kansas City Comets since 2010 when they were re-introduced.
The Comets have been a very successful franchise since returning to play in 2010 when Brian Budzinski, and Ed and Mickey Sheetz brought indoor soccer back to Kansas City.
