Kamara and Kempin Join New Teams - Former Sporting Player Update

The 2017 MLS season came to a close this past weekend and now the busy offseason has started for all the teams. In the short period of time that trades have been allowed to happen again, two former Sporting Kansas City players have joined new clubs. First on Sunday during the league’s half day trade window, Kei Kamara was traded from the New England Revolution to the Vancouver Whitecaps, a move that will see him play Kansas City more than once a year. Today, the Columbus Crew acquired the rights to former Homegrown Player, Jon Kempin in a trade with the LA Galaxy.
