Sporting Kansas City announced Thursday that assistant coach John Pascarella has left the club to become the head coach of the Des Moines Menace in the Premier Development League (PDL).
“After the season, John and I had a discussion around his coaching future,” Sporting KC Manager Peter Vermes said. “He has high aspirations in the coaching realm, and I'm extremely supportive of that. We appreciate everything he has done for our club, and on behalf of the entire Sporting KC organization, we wish him nothing but the best.”
"I would like to thank Peter and the entire Sporting Kansas City organization for the past eight years," Pascarella said.
