Sporting Kansas City defender Jimmy Medranda's first career goal is one of eight nominees for the MLS Goal of the Week. Medranda scored the game-winning goal in Sunday's 3-1 win over NYCFC with a long-range effort from outside the 18 yard box.
Voting is now open quarterfinal round of the bracket (closes Tuesday night) with Medranda matched up against Philadelphia's Ilsinho. The other match-ups include Maxi Urruti vs Robbie Keane, Lee Nguyen vs Kevin Doyle, and Kendall Waston vs Frank Lampard.
