Reports out of Spain are that a Sporting Kansas City (though they say Kansas City Wizard) scout was in attendance at a La Liga game to scout Dani Castilian. Castilian plays for UD Las Palmas, a club in the top flight Spanish League, La Liga (known for Real Madrid and FC Barcelona).
Castilian plays left back, which seems like an odd move for Sporting KC since they have five players on their roster that played that position in 2015. The recently re-signed Seth Sinovic, Canadian International Marcel de Jong, Jimmy Medranda (who was an experiment in that role) and two of our three rookies (who survived cuts) Amadou Dia and Saad Abdul-Salaam.
