After Matt Besler suffered a concussion ahead of the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying game the United States had against Guatemala, he has been sent home as we suspected he would be. There is no need to put his health any further at risk, and he will miss the game Tuesday against Guatemala here in the US.
His Sporting Kansas City teammate, Graham Zusi, will be one of two players called in to fill in for injuries. He is joined by 17-year-old, Christian Pulisic.
Graham Zusi is no stranger to the national team as he has had 32 caps since getting his first call up back in 2012.
