Sporting Kansas City winger Gerso Fernandes and midfielder Ilie Sanchez attended the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway on Sunday, participating in a host of activities both before and during the race.
Both players took part in Hot Laps to kick off the day, which entails a high-speed ride around the track in a Toyota pace car. Up next was a tour of the pits and the garage area prior to the arrival of the teams involved in the race.
Both players then headed to the Toyota Suite, where Gerso and Ilie heard decorated NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin speak to the group before posing for a photo (pictured above).
