Sporting Kansas City will return to competitive action next month in the MLS is Back Tournament, a historic competition involving all 26 MLS clubs at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
The tournament group stage will begin July 8, with Sporting drawn into Group D alongside Western Conference rivals Real Salt Lake, Minnesota United FC and the Colorado Rapids.
Although excitement continues to build by the day, the fact of the matter is that Sporting fans will have to wait another three weeks before Manager Peter Vermes' side takes the field.
