FCKC's Bogus and Lisenby retire

Liz Bogus was a key role player for the Blues, filling in at forward and midfield, netting some key goals

FC Kansas City revealed that forward/mid Liz Bogus and defender Meghan Lisenby have officially retired. It was long suspected that Bogus would retire after last season after helping the Blues earn their second consecutive National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) Championship.

Bogus played two season for FC Kansas City. With so much talent on the Blues it was hard for Bogus to be a consistent starter (started 8 of 13 appearances in 2014 and 10 of 18 appearances in 2015).
