Today was a day for big announcements for FC Kansas City. They
announced that this year they will once again be playing their home opener at Children’s Mercy Park. The match, against the Western New York Flash, will be held on April 16th at 7:30 PM. They will also have an additional match at Children’s Mercy Park this year on September 4th at 3:00 PM.
FC Kansas City also announced the retirements of defender Megan Lisenby and midfielder Liz Bogus. These retirements come after some other notable retirements and pregnancy announcements this off season.
