The first half did not have much action goal-wise, but there was some news injury-wise. Ike Opara seemed to step on the side of his foot and was hobbling around before deciding to gut it out and stay in the match. However, a few minutes later it became evident he would not be able to continue and he was subbed off for Kevin Ellis in the 35th minute.
