Sporting Kansas City has rejected a bid from Olympiakos for striker Dom Dwyer, coach Peter Vermes said.
Dwyer, 25, scored twice on Sunday to bring his goal tally on the seaon to 10 through 22 games.
Olympiakos offered about $3 million for Dwyer, Goal.com reported, but Vermes told the Kansas City Star on Monday that the club had turned down the Greek champions.
"There's a lot of different moving parts in these deals -- both for the club and the player," Vermes said. "Everybody has to be comfortable with that. I would say right now, we're not [comfortable] -- neither of us are.
