Comets travel to St. Louis

The Kansas City Comets are headed down I-70 for the final time this season on Saturday for a match with the St. Louis Ambush.

The Comets enter the match in second in second place in the South Central division with a 7-5 record and have won six of their last seven games following a winning goal from Leo Gibson with 2.5 seconds left in last week against the Florida Tropics.

The Comets are led by Leo Gibson, who is second in points(34) and assists(18) after 12 games. Goalkeeper Mark Saxby has also stepped up lately with the absence of Brett Petricek with three wins in his three appearances.
