Comets travel to Orlando with chance to clinch playoff spot

The Kansas City Comets will have the chance to clinch a playoff spot this Friday in Orlando.

Kevin Ellis has escaped a suspension, although he has received a fine of an undisclosed amount, along with Stefan Stokic, for violent conduct/serious foul play in the altercation with the Ambush last week. The Comets will be without Adam James and Alain Matingou, who both miss through injury. The SeaWolves will be without Victor France, who misses through injury, and Richard Schmermund, who will serve a one game suspension for point accumulation.

The 11-10 Comets will look to clinch a playoff spot on Friday, with Leo Gibson leading the way with 32 goals and 28 assists,a total of 60 points, which is three points behind league leader Nick Perera of the Tacoma Stars.
